I still need to get a 3DS XL (planned to for Pokemon X/Y) but it really depends, haven't seen the details about the 2DS screen size and I haven't had one in my hands yet. I love how the 3DS XL feels (I like my 3DS but the XL is better, I just haven't been able to justify spending $200 for a slightly larger version of my system - that $200 including Pokemon X/Y is a little better). It will really depend on how it feels in my hands.
The big questions for us here are:
How will VG Chartz track the sales (included in 3DS sales like DSi/DSLite/Original DS or Gameboy/GameboyLite/GameBoyColor?Or a new type?) and if its included will they just lump it under the 3DS or maybe call it >1DS :)
More importantly how will this affect sales (My first thoughts are very well but you never know) and how much Nintendo is making on the system.
