and other factor are to take into account now.... first 3billion+ went into the RRoD fiasco this won't happen this time....
I haven't check in detail for the current structure but before XB was counted in the entertainment division which included zune losses too...
and now the XB is part of the hardware division....
the 360 is profitable and XB1 will more than likely be even more since you won't have the issues like the RRoD they are launching probably at no loss or a very small one compared to last gen... and the brand is established no matter what hardcore gamers think.... this Christmas and the coming one XB1 will be a hot device.... mass media will be talking about it... and so many other factors will make it a money machine...
PS4 might be more profitable... but I don't feel any major threat on the brand....
