Really? I do not have sales numbers, but I thought the 3DS was following the DS's gradient in sales. Perhaps my memory fails me.

Lifetime 3DS sales are about NA-9m, EU-9m, Jap-12m, Total-33m

DS in the same time was around NA-11m, EU-11m, Jap-16m, Total 41m
