Anyone else except me think that the Wii U's big games this holiday won't be all that big? Sure, they'll have legs, most Nintendo games do, but I'm not seeing much of an impact for the rest of this year. I think what the PS4/XO bring to the table will greatly overshadow the Wii U's software offerings. It could have been a different story with Mario Kart or Smash Bros., but the selection in 2013 isn't going to send anyone rushing out into the streets. People will say, "I'll get that eventually," then buy CoD, Watch Dogs, or Titanfall.

Neither the Wii U nor the Vita is lined up to do much this year. That's fine, though, because it's not like they're going anywhere anytime soon. There is plenty of time for both to improve their numbers.

That's basically how I see the Wii U. "Oh I'll get that later. Oh that game looks nice. I'll wait until I have the money. If I'm going to wait, I might as well wait for price drops too. Yeah but there aren't enough games right now. Maybe if Smash bros. turns out good, I'll consider it."
