The art quality in most Final Fantasies is generally quite high, but you can't deny they're often funky and over the type. The costumes and character designs for 7+ have been increasingly bizarre. I think I would have to give FFX top awards for lame art. FFXII's Judge design was fantastic, although Basch, Vaan, Penelo and other assorted characters were pretty bad. |
I love Lost Odyssey's art style. It's a refreshing look for a JRPG genre that relies too heavily on girly-men and doe-eyed art styles.
