Or you are overestimating.  Early adopters are generally fans of the company, pegging 360 and ps3 ownership at roughly a third of the userbase is pretty generous I would think.  

A lot of Wii owners had a PS3/360 already, including those who may have the upgraded to Wii U. One can be a Nintendo fan and still own another brand of console. I have a 360 and I've been a Nintendo fan since I was 4.


Indeed, thats why I said 1 out of 3 wii u owners probably have a ps3 or 360.  That is a lot.  I have worked in retail, i have looked at stats on household numbers and stuff like that.  Im not shooting in the dark here.  It is a somewhat educated guess.  Now i havent worked in retail for a few years, so i dont know hard numbers now or what the wii u numbers are, but i would be incredibly surprised if they were higher than what I said.  The actual number of wii u iwners that also have a ps3 or 360 is probably more like 1 out of 5, but Im being generous for the sake of argument.
