@FromDK: You seem to have a high opinion of what Nintendo 'says', but frankly I think it is misplaced to a degree.
They also said they had 'great' ideas for the Wii heart monitor accessories. Nothing came out of that.
They also said after the 3DS disaster they LEARNED their lesson about software and won't repeat that mistake with the Wii U... yeah.
Nintendo is a corporation that wants money and to look good. They won't out right admit that their system is too weak or they failed to prepare it to handle more then one GamePad, but just because they don't it doesn't mean that isn't the case. Granted nor does it mean that it is true but the fact is with one of their systems suffering as badly as any since the Virtual Boy, actions or lack of actions speak a whole lot more then words.
Wonderful 101 has a multiplayer mode, wouldn't that have worked a lot better with a second GamePad instead of Wii remotes and classic controllers?
