The PS3 was sluggish until a price drop and games like Uncharted started coming onto it attracting gamers. Same with Little Big Planet. The PS2 sold really well, but it also had a huge number of hit games released that boosted its sales. The PS1 was similar. Final fantasy was a big seller as well as GT and Crash Bandicoot and Metal Gear. Add in various JRPGS and bam. The PSP sold well due to Monster Hunter and a few other Japanese hits. |
You need to go argue with the guy who started this, then, as he was saying Sony has nothing that comes close to 20M sales and thus doesn't have any massive hits.
