Yeah the everyday man will see the launch line ups, maybe even find Xbone's more appealing. Then he'll make a glimpse at the price tag, his eyes will melt from the 500$ and he'll exit the shop with a PS4 and still be very happy with his purchase.

Hey, i'm sure the price will help the ps4 to some degree.
But look, the ps3 was $600 at one point, and it still eventually took second.
Xbox is very much established now (from 25 million xbox's to like 78 million and growing for 360's).
I just don't think it's going to be anywhere near the slaughter that a lot of sony fans think it is going to be.
