I'm playing an indie game right now (Charlie Murder) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ska_Studios both Charlie Murder and Dishwasher: Vampire smile are exceptional games IMO.
But again, these games are not on shop shelves.
The general view was that a lot were not happy with how much emphasis sony put on indie games in their conference.
A machine with such power, and all they talked about were 32 bit games (more than that i know, but you get the jist).
It just left a bad taste in a fair few peoples mouths who were still undecided about which next gen console to get.
And a fair few sony die hards were peeved off too.
