Why is it so hard to get Gas or anything other than shots at the Dentist?

I have put it off for a bit, but I know i may have a cavity. It is not bad yet. I will just take a bunch of Aspirin before I go or something.

if it is "only" a cavity i wouldn't take anything. it will maybe hurt a little bit but not sure what's the problem wit that. it only hurts for some seconds or a minute and not for 20 hours. and it's not even a given that it will hurt.
