pretty easy calculation, xbox one PS3 is more expensive but does also cost more to produce which makes the deal as fair as the ps4 Xbox 360 price.
if you don't want kinect Blu-ray just don't buy the console but if you are fine with it you will also understand that the price has to be higher.
not sure what's so hard to understand with that looking at the production costs.

it's true and you never saw me complaining about the ps3 price in 2007. i just didn't buy the ps3 at release because i didn't want to pay so much just because blu-ray was so expensive and i didn't plan to buy more than a few blu-ray movies.
but it was sony's strategy to put blu-ray in every console and not as peripheral and sony had high costs which means the price was fair or even too low considering how much money sony lost with every sold console.
