I said nothing at all about the time it takes to 'think'.  I'm talking about the time it takes to focus your brainwaves into a specific pattern.

As I said, Nintendo already tested this with Tetris and people simply couldn't come to grips with the ability to focus their brainbwaves fast enough to play the game at regular speed.

Now if a device were actually capable of reading our thoughts (scary as that is), then certainly we'd be able to play far better than we ever could with physical controls.  But as I said, actual thoughts and static brainwave patterns are not the same thing.

"I'm talking about the time it takes to focus your brainwaves into a specific pattern.  "

You still don't seem to understand. The time it takes to focus isn't the issue. This is easy. It's how they are reading these patterns. You have to visualize pulling action rather than simply thinking the word pull itself. This is a result of limited interpretive abilities of devices, not thoughts themselves.

Blaming people for the failure of devices to properly analyze specific waves is completely inept.

I'm sorry but you really don't understand the different between a "thought" and a "brainwave pattern".  We read brain wave activity instantly.  Go get an EEG done.  How long does it take for that needle to move?

Now how long do you tink it would take you to generate a specific brainwave pattern that is replicated by the needle consistantly and quickly? That's a fault with us.  Not the machines.   As I said, reading brainwaves is fairly simple technology and we've been doing it accurately for nearly 100 years.
