I don't believe you.

lol, you don't have to. Just watch.

Do you have any reasoning or evidence to support your claim?

Do you have anything to make your supposition anything more than a John Lucas prediction?

*sigh* Are you an MGS fan in any sort of way? I ask cause if you aren't it'll be kinda pointless to explain this... but I'll try ('uck! I said I wont' do stuff like this anymore but what the hell I guess)

When MGS launched on the PS1 it was like no other. It was a glimpse into where Sony planned to take gaming and the game's Xter endeared himself like he'd never done before. I'm not sure but I think MGS2 sold better than MGS1 not primarily cause it was a better gaming experience but I think one of two things; one being that word of this great game franchise spread and MGS2 got alot more people buyin it that hadn't gotten MGS1 and 2ndly, MGS fans at the time thought MGS2 was a direct continuation of MGS's story which it really wasn't.

Then MGS3 came out and though a great game, still wasn't that direct continuation of MGS1 focusin on the struggles of Snake, his genes and his siblings too. I'm not sure but I don't think MGS3 sold as well as MGS2 and if that's the case then I think it had to do with the game mechanics that, though unique to Metal Gear franchise, kinda showed it's age and seemed very cumbersome to alot of people.. including myself. However, it still sold in the millions anyway.

Why I feel MGS4 will sell better than MGS1,2 or 3 is that

1) This is Snake. This is the main Xter that it's fanbase have been waiting to play. This is a direct contiunation of his story and all that compasses it from MGS1.

2) It's gameplay mechanics have been updated and thus is more friendly with gamers that are used to other typical gameplay mechanic and that open's up it's accessibility to even more people that ordinarily wouldn't play MGS series.

3) The state of the industry is way more main stream than it's been even in very recent years and that jsut adds to  this.

There are other little things that contribute to MGS4 selling better but they're too tidious to go thorugh. Let me guess, you still don't get it and find my reasoning flawed uh? *sigh* just take my comments as crazy "fanboy" ramblings and like I said, just watch.
