I don't accept MC as the Final word on numbers from Japan. The reason I have faith in this weeks numbers more than usual is because 2 tracking services which have better market coverage(or at least equal) than NDP are coming up with the same numbers. I think the fact that 2 tracking services with over 60% of the market can differ by as much as 20% proves that NDP can get things wrong. I also do not know this for sure, but it is safe to assume there is no walmart esque retailer completely left out of the numbers, and to include them using purely historical methods. I have explained before why historical IS wrong(if that is indeed what they are using... what else would they use?)

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
