That was private hosting which you had to pay out of your own pocket or someone else had to pay I should say.  I am talking about free dedicated servers which is something totally different.

What do you mean private hosting?

EA has a few dedicated servers but the majority are the ones purchased from players paying 30 a month from the venturbeat company.  Also EA has cut back a lot on dedicated servers because it is expensive to keep them running all the time.
