Here's the idea: we have a riddle to solve, and we do not post a new one until the first is done with. The one that solves the riddle has the privilage of coming up with a new enigma. Let's have fun :D

Here's the riddle: The police is on the case of a murder. The law enforcers during the case found out that it was actually an attempted double murder which failed partially as only the wife died while the husband survived. We know that during the time of murder the young couple was having dinner in a fancy restaurant.

They ordered exactly the same food and drinks: Spaghetti and Martini on ice. The police didn't find anything suspicious in the meal, but the martini glassess were analyzed and turned out to have very deadly poison inside. This chemical is known to be extremely deadly and no human would be able to survive its effects.

From the husbands testimony we know that he quickly drank his martini as he was quite thirsty from eating spaghetti while his wife started drinking only after she had finished her meal.

The question is: Why did only the wife die if we know that both she and her husband had the poison in their drinks?

Have fun :D
