This is ,simply put, just not true ! I can link you to a dozen Interviews with Developers who nothing but praise Nintendo for their indie stance (heck, the hole WebFramework, FREE Unity license, something not even Sony gives away...does that ring a bell?) like those ones:

and there was 1 case where the Just Cause devs casually said that they couldn´t contact anyone at Nintendo...which is laughable to say the least !
