Whether the PS3 was suppose to release in 2005 is not the question.  It released in the US and Japan first then released 5months later in the EU.  In other words, Sony did not respect the EU market more than Japan and the US but you still forgave Sony.  This is fact you can pretty much look it up.  PS3 released March 23 2007 in EU while it released in Japan November 10 2006 and US the 17th.  MS on the other hand released in EU, Japan and US at the same time treating EU has an equal.

PS.  As a gamer, I would buy the system with the games I want.  Whether its PS4, X1, PS3, Vita, DS, PC, Ipad you name it.  I do not care about the fanboy, corporation love.  What I care about is games and if a system has the games I want, it will see my money.

Read my answer again, that's exactly what I said, they had to wait 5 months, you started with saying they had to wait a year. And we don't know who forgave Sony and who did not want to wait and got a 360. I didn't have to forgive anyone since I wasn't big on gaming and probably didn't even know when the PS3 is launching and where, until I bought a PS3 in 2011.

I can only go by sells and the PS3 when it launch in EU outsold the 360 from start and never looked back even when it was at a much higher price. Anyway, what I am trying to say is that people are easy to forgive if they see something they want.  A lot of people do not purchase a game at launch if that was the case then these consoles would be selling out every year.  This is a long race where both companies will have a chance to offer gamers games they feel they need the sysem for.  Launch only makes up a very small window to the lifecycle for these consoles.
