I just watched Trance, the new Danny Boyle movie. It's pretty good, worth a watch. I would describe it as a cross between Memento and Inception with some great dreamlike film styles instead of cgi. A very entertaining movie you have to pay attention to not to lose the plot or get confused about what's real and what isn't.

It gets 8/10 from me on first impression, I had to watch all the extras straight after. There is a nice bonus short on the blu-ray too.

There is a new STV movie with John Travolta. Killing something. I will give it a try. Not many STV movies that I try out anymore. I just do not like to waste my tim eon them. Plus there are so many these days.

Trance wasn't straight to video, but with an opening weekend of 131k on a budget of 20 million it might as well have been. According to imdb it made 2.3 mil so far at the box office, US only though. I imagine it made more in Europe.

Killing season you mean, doesn't get any love on imdb, goodluck.

I'm waiting for my new laptop to boot up, unfortunately with windows 8. Let's see how long it takes to recreate my familiar win xp desktop :) There weren't any good options with win 7 anymore as I didn't want to lose resolution. My current laptop is 11 years old with a 1400x1050 screen but continuously runs out of memory, especially with vgchartz. The only option nowadays is to go 1920x1080 to get the same browser experience. Still the new 15.4" screen is less high, dunno wo thought 16:9 is good for laptops, less room for my breakfast!

It's the biggest upgrade in pc's I've done, from pentium M 1gb ram to I7 4700MQ with 16gb ram. I will not run out of memory again! Now where's the task manager in windows 8. Holy... 3.6gb used and I've only installed Firefox so far, 967 threads running, hdd is 60% utilized, and I'm not even touching it. My old laptop runs with less then 200mb after start up. What is it doing??

Ahh windows installer, tons of updates ofcourse, guess I'll let it sit for a while until it's ready for a user.
