It's not a remake, it's a sequel and it's a bad one at that. Smeags listed the details of why it was bad. Then there is also all those god damn babies.

Yes and no. You can only play Yoshi's Island if you bought the 3DS before the price cut, which I did and we got it for free. Unfortunately it isn't up on the eshop. Maybe in the future when the 3DS eshop supports SNES or GBA games. We got the GBA version of Yoshi and it has more content too.
