If Microsoft paid to fund Titanfall and Dead Rising, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but they're paying to keep those titles Xbox exclusive.

@2nd part - we don't know any of these things about either game. Neither Respawn or Crapcom have detailed what they did or did not get from MS.

1st part: Are you fucking serious?

2nd part: I don't think EA needed start-up money for Titanfall and we know there's as large of an audience for shooters on the PS as there is on Xbox. EA is basically limiting their sales by half by only releasing on one console and it's not unreasonable to imagine that money was involved. (Just to be clear: releasing one console apparently also includes the 360 and PC).

Dead Rising - maybe. I don't know if the last game was considered a sucess for them or not.
