Don't remember Epic doing this everytime a new Gears came out.
Look at Dice. Sony had DLC deal for BF3. Dice comes out and says how useful the cell is and blah blah blah. Only 3rd party to say that lol. Sony gave them money, and Dice polished Sony's knob
Now same thing kind of. Microsoft makes DLC deal for BF4. Dice talks up Xbox One. Microsoft gives them money, Dice polished Microsofts knob.
EA decided to ally with Microsoft. They liked the Xbox One before the 1080. If everyone rather believe they did so because of cloud computing and not DRM... fine. If you believe it's not Microsoft giving money but rather dedi servers... thats fine too
