VIII is one of my favourites in terms of story, characters and soundtrack =) it must've helped that i was the same age as the main characters at the time i played it (17) and that some characters reminded me of myself and my friends in some aspects.

Yeah, I really related to Squall back when I was playing the game in early high school.
