They influence heavily if I'm on the fence about a game, like how controls are, story, characters etc. If its a game I think I will like I will mostly always get it if it's above a 60 meta, if it's not I still will, but after inevitable price drop (mind jack) because prices on lowly cieved games drop quick. If its a game that looks boring, I probably won't ever get it, though I might be persuaded into renting it.
So it does affect me, but my parameters are pretty loose.
