Is multiplayer crippling Mario 3D World's level design?

LoL. Funny. And its actually quite sad that Nintendo's online offerings are still embarrassingly behind the times. No online in DKC, no online for NSMBU, no online for this game, no online for Pikmin  etc, etc. Its quite pathetic if you ask me. But I digress;

As for the OP, let me preface this with I did enjoy Mario 64 back in 1996, I still think it is the best 3D Mario they've made, Sunshine was garbage, Galaxy 1 was fun, Galaxy 2 was lame, 3D Land barren and boring and now we have this...It looks barren and boring. They need to stop with this fusion of 2D and 3D marios and just make each game its own great game. I don't think MP is crippling this game..just everything else is crippling this game, from its philosophy on.

Sometimes when you try to please everyone you end up pissing off everyone lol. Case in point.

Based off what u said, it doesnt seem like ur much a fan of 3D Mario so not sure why u care what direction they take it. Of the 5 3D Mario titles, u called one garbage, another lame and the other boring.
