If you have the time to go deep in anime, i mean very deep, then you will realize that japanese anime has a lot more to offer. In cartoon it's almost the same cartoon with new season. Not saying it's a bad thing but that is how they do. In Japan they have ton of series of 12 or 24 episodes... They keep adding new anime. And animes tends to be more mature like you were watching a movie. I am a big fan of anime and manga, and unless you are deep in anime, you will think that cartoon are better. I watch both, but anime wins for me.
