as of now the ps4 has not too much games i want to get at launch. watch_dogs and driveclub (got it for 20€). infamous is not for launch and i don't care much for killzone or other FPS. i hope we will see more of the order, and that it turns out to be good.
but.... PS3 has shown sony blows out very good exclusives so... launch lineup isnt too important to me (backlog on the ps3 is huge)

Launch line ups are useful, but with 3rd party games making up the bulk of important purchases this year, it's not sensible for Sony (or MS) to have lots of their own exclusives at launch.

I mean I have got AC4 - BF, Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, probably FIFA14 (if next gen) and maybe COD. Thats 5 games before Xmas, then add in Killzone. That's £240 in the space of 2-3 months. Before I take into account some PS3 games (GTAV, Beyond, That puppet game), Vita games (killzone/tearaway), and a couple of PC/Mac games (Stronghold/Totalwar).

Are people seriously saying we need more exlusives before Xmas, I know why i want a PS4 and the games will come from Sony, but I also want next gen 3rd party games. It's not really a problem if MS have a couple of games more than Sony, even more so if they are games that i am not that fussed about (i.e if they are F2P fighting/kinect based games) as thats not my thing.

We've already got Theif marked up for Feb, Infamous end of March, these slots will begin to fill up very quickly.

Sony need to do what Nintendo didnt, and that is have games spread out, but at reasonable timeframes. Sony have already shown over the last few years that they are good at that, and usually have two titles in Jan-March, a game in May/June and then bigger games heading into the winter.

I think the Gen handover is a little messy this time and I really don't think either MS or Sony should stuff their games into the launch period between OCT-Dec this year.
