With the amount of good games being released this year for PS3, it would be ludicrous for Sony to release any more with PS4 coming out.
Seriously think Resistance should be given a hiatus though. The 3 console games have had decreasing sales with the last only reaching 1.3 million, so I think they'd be better off developing a new IP. They already have Killzone in the FPS space and it's not like third party FPS' are going to be thin on the ground.
