that is good deal for sony and maybe people will start to realize that there is no "gaming console" anymore (well, maybe from nintendo but not even they release a classical console) if this will be also used for ps4.
microsoft said once that people use the xbox more hours for multimedia stuff as for games and netflix said once that the ps3 is the most used console for netflix which probably means that the ps3 is also used more for movies, apps and music as for gaming.
no clue how it will be next gen but i could see the average time people use the xb1 and ps4 like 75% for anything not gaming and 25% gaming. maybe even less for gaming.
not really a wonder that they also start to advertise their upcoming consoles as a multimedia device (microsoft more than sony) when that is as what people will use them for.
but well, i never understood the complaints about that since i don't think this means microsoft or sony will invest less in games as they would do without all this multimedia stuff. pc gamers use all the awesome possibilities besides gaming as argument for a gaming pc and many console gamers use it as negative point of the competitions console lol.
