I can actually see JWein's logic, although it's on the conservative side. If the 3DS sells a modest 9-10 mil to close the year, it'll be around 42 mil. We're currently in August and it has sold about 5 million so far this year; if it repeats similar numbers next year, it might have 6-7 mil by the end of September.

I don't see that happening, but it's not a completely outrageous suggestion.
