Nintendo region locked thier games for a reason and I dont think the reason was that peeps could make money selling a program that provides a way around it. You run unlicensed software on your Wii that exploits code to play a game you arent supposed to be able to play in the first place - they can brick your Wii. And I hope they would. Would it also allow you to run unlicensed software? Say homebrew games? |
no it wouldn't be possible to run homebrew, this just changes your region code just as the gamecubes version, BTW I'm not kidding myself, they might be able to stop it through a firmware upgrade but never will using this disc causing you a bricked wii, like I said they can't prove you used this so if they would brick Wii's they would have to fix them. It would even be possible to run updates for the freeloader if the wii sees it as an actual game, could be very intresting. Too bad al already got a japanese and american wii, damn if I would have known this.
