From Nintendo Enthusiast:

Well, there’s excellent news for everyone today. While the Wii U version of the game will not include the online mode developed by Splash Damage, it will, however, be $10 less than the other versions of the game and if you pre-order Batman Arkham Origins on Amazon, you’ll receive $10 in Amazon.com store credit and the playable Deathstroke DLC. So if you preorder, you could technically only be paying $39.99 for the Wii U version of the game. It is also worth noting that the PC version of the game is the same price as the Wii U version.

There has been no official confirmation that the reduced price was directly caused by the lack of online mode, however, if you had previously taken the Wii U version of this game off your ‘Most Wanted’ list, you now at least have reason to put it back on. So what do you guys think? Is the reduced price (plus the promo code) enough to warrant a purchase of the Wii U version of the game or value the multiplayer mode more than $10 and are passing on this version? Let us know in the comment section below.

Batman Arkham Origins releases for all systems October 25th, 2013.

Welp, this game went from a must buy, to a bargain bin buy after finding out they were cutting out the MP in the Wii U version, to a preorder once I found out about the price cut + this deal. How do you feel?

EDIT: just realized the $10 credit from Amazon applies to preorders on any version of the game, not just Wii U. Doesn't change a thing for me though.
