Nintendo would never give up the rights on their IPs. If it took them time to find the scam, you can bet that that's not a good thing to color Sony as the good guy.

Then why wait until the end to sever the ties? If they had time to analyze the contract then that means they "agreed" with it.

It's not a positive argument for Sony. I am just saying that they had time to analyze te contract. These are big companies, you simply don't miss something as important as that.
