I wonder what it felt like for Japanese to stab Nintendo in the back when the PS came out?

what did you expect? square gave Nintendo the middle finger cause of cartridges. Pretty much all the meaningful JRPG's were on PS1. If Nintendo would have used CD's back then N64 would have dominated.
