It isn't often you see a company that size being able to change their plans this quickly. Honestly, their reveal of the X1 was probably the worst reveal in the history of console reveals. I was laughing at how terrible it was throughout the event. Now, pretty much everything they revealed is different, which is good. The X1 is a pretty attractive console at this point and they have some pretty killer games lined up. I was hoping they would add more value to xbox live though... and I thought they might have done that at E3 with the free games, but evidently that is only for this year... and only on the 360. Of course, I anticipate the ps+ benefits for the ps4 will be significantly lower for the ps4 than they are now for the ps3, as it is a required subscription now and they don't need as much enticement to get subscribers... |
There will of course be more on the PS4 because its the next generation for PSN+ but in the beginning its going to have to come into a process of coming into its own. PSN Plus sells itself but now multiplayer is in the cards for the PS4. Hopefully the money made on that will be used to create more deals and increase the amount of games put on PSN Plus.
