The 3DS selling as well as it did at $250 with poor hardware and no worthwhile  games in comparison to the Vita sales at $250 with a lot of quality games.  That's showing how backwards the industry is.  The Vita even gets sale prices at $180 on Amazon's Black Friday, it had two games included and a PSN voucher and it was still ignored.

Lol, what? The 3DS was basically dead in the water at that point. The humongous price drop and wave of new quality games turned it around, but before that it was doing horrible. Sure its launch was great, but then pretty much all launches are because of fanatic early adopting fans.

The 3DS wasn't dead in the water.  It sold no less than 65,000 a week and that was on its very worst week, but it was usually around 90,000 a week.  "As well as it did" doesn't mean "as well as it's doing now."

65,000 at its worst, with around a 90,000 a week average in comparison to the Vitas 30,000-35,000 average after it went to 199 yen in Japan.  Crazy that people would buy a system with hardly anything worthwhile on it and completely avoid a system with a solid library of  titles.

Consumers obviously don't agree with your definition of a solid library.
