If ur using the cheapest sku for all the consoles, why not so the same for Wii U? Basic-$299, ur point still stands just seems weird.

It looks like the Basic is being phased out entirely. So if the deluxe becomes the only SKU, I just don't see how they can't drop the price. It would be suicide.

Agreed but as of right now the Basic still exists and is the cheaper sku so ur comparison isnt the most accurate since every console on there has its cheapest sku. Also a price cut isnt confirmed for either PS3 or 360 so ur basing this off of assumptions
