You do get credit for "One Hundred Percenting" a game on Xbox Live.  There's like a special page on your Xbox 360 dashboard for games that you totally complete.  Same as a Platinum on PS3.

It isn't the same, and that requires you do all DLC too, meaning if I don't want the DLC it isn't worth doing any of them.

I guess you're right.
