when you say VGC is saying, you mean VGC forum is saying? Honestly, I think you are giving too much credit to fanboys.
I think it's stupid because there's absolutely no base to the price drop rumour. Last time there was a price-drop/new sku, people found out about it MONTHS before the actualy annoucnement.
If it's true, Microsoft would go public and deny it.
