No, I never said pokemon is the same game over and over. you're the one desperately puting those words on my mouth.

He means in the way of Red/Green/Blue/Yellow all being pretty much the same game, I might be wrong on that though.  

he said "releasing the same game game over and over". those are different versions of the same game being released at the same time, while making it clear people just need one of them. so what he said certainly doesn't refer to that.
