last time I checked, a new pokemon gen is released every 3 or 4 years, always bringing more than 100 new pokemon, honing the gameplay mechanics and keeping balance between creatures.
call of retrocess is a rehashed franchise that get's released every year on the same engine and it's basically the same game on different scenarios.
