It is because for some the 3DS is their main game console, it doesn't matter that it is portable. And that is my case, i got the 3DS on christmas 2011 and since than i play it the most, last year i only played skyward sword and xenoblade on Wii, most of the games that i wanted to play on the ps3 i already played and i need to buy a new pc for my gaming pc fix, my pc is six years old and it wasn't a top pc at the time. I can understand that. I'm somewhat the same, judging from the amount of times of play the 3DS most likely wins against my Wii/WiiU/PS3. Wii's been next to nothing for over a year anyway. However, all those playsessions on 3DS aren't very long each, so it takes a while before it racks up in total time. That's where the consoles win big time.
