So much deep theories for a Pikmin game, huh. Oh well I wanna join :D
I don't think the gravity on other planets caused the small size of the hocotations IF they are evolved from humans. They would have problems with the gravity on earth because their vitals and bloodvessels are adjusted to the gravity on, but they don't. So the other planets have the same gravity. There has to be some other very deep and symbolic reason for it.
