There is NO way on earth that either company WON'T be taking a loss on each console sold out of the gate.
If Nintendo, for the first time in ages, is taking a loss on Wii U units (and they haven't even dropped the price), considering the basic hardware for the Wii U is inevitably less expensive than that of PS4 or Xbox "One", then there is just no way Sony and MS don't also lose money. More money per unit, in fact.
