I should have been a bit clearer, I didn't mean that it won't release for PS3, what I meant is that later on it will most likely come out on a next-gen console, the developer won't just come out and say that it will also release for next gen because then that will ruin the sales of this gens version.



 

Its unlikely. The tales studio has limited resources.

Also, please remember this is the same studio that almost bankrupted because they invested what they had on Vesperia early in the generation and it bombed on the 360. They will not take that risk again.
They might port something at some point to test the waters but a PS4 Tales wont be coming anytime soon.

How did Vesperia bomb? It sold 650k on 360. 

Most of the sales came after the price dropped on Vesperia in the west im guessing it slowly sold a small bit every week to reach those sales I would think. Still I'll say if you haven't played it its worth getting a cheap 360 for o play it if you dont have one. One of my favorite games of the gen.
