I'm all for cleaning up sports but what happened to innocent until proven guilty? Lance Armstrong was the most tested athlete in world cycling over the second half of his career and he's never turned a positive test. Bottom line, he's either very clean or very smart.
If with advances in testing techniques they can retrospectively prove his guilt, then by all means his titles should be withdrawn but at the moment his 'assumed guilt' reeks awfully of a case European sour grapes over American domination in what is traditionally a European sport.
