To me, it sounded like he wanted to give it a "low" score, and tried to justify it as good as he could. It almost feels like this isn't the score he really wanted to give it.
In all honesty, we can't trust GR anyway. Reason? They don't include Japaneese reviews, which really makes them only do American (since there are very few counted European) and reviewers are nationalistic, we all are. IMO, all 4 Famitsu reviews should be counted separetaly, because Japan has so few reviewers they listen to.
It is higher than the future average, so who can complain?
Screw that! I complain! :P
On the bright side, SSBB is the best reviewed game with 8 (yeah, I count 4 Famitsu's) reviews. 99.125%
Whoohoo! 2 more 100% and we can say it once was the best reviewed game with 10 + reviews. After OoT, only 2 games have been able to say that. Metroid Prime and SMG. So I guess, if it happens, we can say Wii is the best console ever :D :P
Want to know how biased GR is? They didn't add up reviews so TP GC recieved 20 reviews. If they had, it would have been nr 11.
And why haven't GR added Gameplayer yet`? For that review: http://www.gameplayer.com.au/Home/REVIEWS/REVIEWGAME/tabid/1486/Default.aspx?CID=f415dbf2-2022-4150-a2cb-3cdc43ba1f89
10/10 Whoohoo! Man, I hype this game way too much. Must be because I listen to the music. I'm sure Nintendo has put something in it so I have to buy 52.5 copies of Brawl.
