Iwata says that he feels that people’s overall expectations for Nintendo continue to get higher and higher, therefore they are facing more challenges than ever as they try to please both the fans and the investors.

Sony and microsoft have other sectors that can pay for games sector, dont need to please especific investors to get their money like nintendo.
And the investors like more wii fit/sports than metroid/star fox. Cos it sells more.
