You'll know about the true amount of hype if the sales show it. IF there's a lot of hype to something, then the sales should follow a similar trend, no?

There's more discussion of Lost World because there hasn't been a brand new Sonic game in a while, therefore there's a reason for discussions, however that doesn't mean that there's a ton of hype for it if it's the same people starting the new topics. And for 3D World, it looks like 3D Land in HD with larger areas and multiplayer...not much to discuss if you ask me. Plus, there has recently been shown new info about SLW lately, and we haven't heard of 3D World since E3.

Sales and hype don't necessarily correlate, no. Look at games likee The Conduit, Wii Sports Resort, Metroid Other M, ZombiU.
